It all started with movement.
Before productions, events, marketing, partnerships and my own company, there was dance.
I have long wanted to do something meaningful. Dance was the first thing I was willing to give my all to. Studying and working as a professional dancer was far from the easiest path, but belief in what I was doing kept me going. Dance taught me discipline, persistence and the drive to succeed.
I graduated as a dancer from an arts academy in Berlin. I was proud of what I had achieved, but curiosity and the desire to grow were already drawing me towards the next step. I wanted to continue studying dance at university in Paris — and I got in.
So I moved to Paris with a backpack, trusting that I would find my way. It was there that I adopted my artist name, Sanna Karina, inspired by Anna Karina. The name stayed with me and, years later, took on a new meaning as the name of my own company.
